Basic principles

Any personal details you give us are collected, stored and processed by mantiburi GmbH (mantiburi in the rest of this text). mantiburi is the accountable body in the terms of the German Data Protection Act (BDSG).

Protecting any personal data you do choose to give us is extremely important to us. This is why we respect the statutory provisions on data protection, especially the German Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Teleservices Act (TMG). We use the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) system, one of the most secure methods of data transmission, to transmit your data. All the information and data transmitted, especially personal data, is encrypted even before it leaves your computer. For your and our protection, your computer's IP Address is transmitted to us when we agree a contract online.

Data collection as part of the ordering process

We collect personal data only when you choose to give it to us when ordering something from us or when you create an account with us. Unless you give us explicit permission, we never use the personal data you give us except to process and complete your order. After your order has been completed and we have received full payment, your details are not used for any other purpose and are deleted when the statutory period for keeping records for tax purposes expires, unless you have given us express permission to use them for other purposes.

Transmission of personal data

We only ever use your personal data for purposes for which you have given us your express permission and when the law permits or even requires it. mantiburi does not pass your personal data on to other companies (third parties) for marketing purposes. However, we do pass your details on to the shipping company if they are needed to ship your order. We also transmit payment details to the credit institution charged with handling payment for your order.

Cookies

We use cookies on some of our pages to adapt the page to your interests and to make certain functions possible. A cookie is a small data packet containing a distinct set of characters. This set of characters contains no personal information, nor can it be linked to personal information. Cookies have an expiry date. Use of Facebook social plug-ins
